MUTHIYA ( Tea time Snack )

Ingredients

  • 3 cup cooked Rice
  • 1/2 cup wheat flour
  • 1/2 cup Semolina
  • 1/2 TBSP Red chilli powder
  • 1 TBSP Ginger paste
  • 1 tsp salt
  • 1 tsp sugar
  • 1 tbsp sesame seeds
  • 1/2 cup chopped fresh Coriander
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
  • 2 TBSP Oil
  • 1/2 tsp Mustard seeds
  • 1 tbsp Sesame seeds
  • 5-6 curry leaves

Instructions

  1. 1.Mix all above Ingredients and mix well- knead soft dough- give them long cylinder shape
  2. 2.Steam them on medium flame 15 min
  3. 3.After 15 min take it out - keep a side - let it cool down 75 % and cut them into pieces
  4. 4.Heat up a pot - add oil - add mustard seeds - sauté well .
  5. 5.Bring gas low flame then add sesame seeds and curry leaves
  6. 6.Now add all Muthiya pieces into pot mix well ...
  7. 7.Garnish with some fresh coriander
  8. 8.MUTHIYA ready to eat ... Enjoy them with tea , coffee , milk etc ...
