Ingredients

  • 1 part Yogurt
  • 2 parts Water
  • 2 heaped tablespoon Gram flour
  • Salt
  • Sugar
  • Ground chili
  • Marchu
  • Ginger
  • Garlic
  • Dry red chili
  • little Hing
  • Cloves
  • Rai
  • Jeera
  • Ghee
  • Dhana
  • Limbdi

Instructions

  1. 1.Mix the water, yogurt, and gram flour together.
  2. 2.Heat the mixture on low heat, stirring constantly, until it boils. Continue stirring constantly to prevent the yogurt from splitting.
  3. 3.Add salt, sugar, ground chili, marchu, ginger, and garlic to the boiling mixture and let it simmer.
  4. 4.In a separate pan, prepare the tempering (vaghar): Fry dry red chili, hing, cloves, rai, and jeera in ghee.
  5. 5.Lastly, add dhana and Limbdi to the tempering.
  6. 6.Pour the prepared tempering into the simmering kadhi.
